Don't make my mistake, ask some simple questions. #1 Do they know what a spreader bar is? #2 Ask them if they know how to pin/lock the steering box before alignment. #3 Which way do you turn the adjustment on the steering box to remove play?
Also as much of a pain it is to find a shop to do the alignment, I would highly recommend that you replace the whole front end first. Then you will not have to worry about it for at least another 30-50k miles. Have you examined the car for loose parts? It's a waste of money to have an alignment attempt done if there's a bad ball joint or something. Jack up the front and yank and wiggle on things first. -- Jim _______________________________________ http://www.okiebenz.com For new parts see official list sponsor: http://www.buymbparts.com/ For used parts email [EMAIL PROTECTED] To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com
