Don't make my mistake, ask some simple questions.

#1 Do they know what a spreader bar is?
#2 Ask them if they know how to pin/lock the steering box before alignment. 
#3 Which way do you turn the adjustment on the steering box to remove play? 

Also as much of a pain it is to find a shop to do the alignment, I would
highly recommend that you replace the whole front end first. Then you will
not have to worry about it for at least another 30-50k miles.

Have you examined the car for loose parts?  It's a waste of money to
have an alignment attempt done if there's a bad ball joint or something.
Jack up the front and yank and wiggle on things first.
