In this day and age there isn't much excuse for not having backup for your wifi. It'd be far cheaper, long term, to put a UPS on the wifi router and cable modem than to use cellular data for your cameras.
Is everybody's local Facebook page full of halfwits? Ours sure is. We had a power problem where the power blinked every day at 11am, it was out for maybe 1 second, maybe a second and a half. People acted like it was the worst thing in the world, "I need to be on Zoom." blah, blah, blah. I just checked the data on my wifi connected cameras and it’s less than 500Mb/month, and that’s on ones that see activity all day long.
