Just finished watching this video during my lunch. Pretty informative, and some good background on the workings of this transmission. That being said, after watching him disassemble it, there’s not a lot different from the good old PowerGlides and C4s from the days when I was in school when it comes to automatic transmissions. If I had the time and space I would consider rebuilding one of these myself. I’m not sure it would make good economic sense compared to a rebuild from Sun Valley, but my point is more that it’s not rocket science.
