Flying it was almost exactly on par with hand feeding a pet cobra. The engine I used produced double the design horsepower and was about 2/3 more weight than Bede designed the airplane for. The added 11 inches put it almost back in the balance envelope, but it was right on the ragged edge, which made it very dicey to handle. It was not an airplane for the novice pilot, and was easy to take beyond safe limits in seconds. You know you are living dangerously when both the wife and the mistress have your life insurance agent on speed dial...:))
