The problem is that if you list it for its true value you drown in inquiries 
from bottom feeders trying to bargain over $50 and who don't have the money or 
intention to buy even at that. Maybe you get that no matter what, I don't know. 
But I'm never going to try selling a $500 car online again. I'd rather get $300 
from the scrapper without all the idiocy. Maybe a $3k price weeds out the worst 
of the idiots. Nothing stopping you from showing up with 5-10 Benjamins and see 
what happens.
