I think unless you are using your 2-stroke engines daily/professionally, you 
should probably buy that synthetic fuel they sell for them rather than make 
your own pre-mix.

It's expensive, but if you're using a gallon over the course of the summer for 
your weed trimmer, so what? It has no ethanol and it won't foul up the 
carburetor.
