I suspect that the aluminum seal at the end cap (not the seal between theunit and the engine) is to blame.But than it says to replace the complete unit, don't disassemble (~ $100).Has anyone experiences with this?
Don't know about your chain tensioner, but the one in my 250C (M130) came apart easily, allowing me to replace both the O-ring against the block and the one in the screw-on cap as well. Vast difference in leakage after that! That tensioner is all-steel. -- Jim
