The mileage tracker in the GL450 is reasonably accurate although I'm not sure exactly how it tracks it.  It seems to know when the tank gets filled and will calculate from that point, plus from when it was started, more or less, and I think there is another choice as well.

Interesting but relying upon the computer to calculate mileage likely is not 
quite so accurate as the old way where you do the manual calculations.
