Time for a reset here… I got confused between the W210 E55 and the ML55. My bad, it sucks to grow old sometimes…
The ML55 looks nice. Other than cosmetics, you should be good with the rest. It’s a solid drive train and engine. That, and the ML55 had some nice little amenities, like the trip computer in the upper console, and a spare that’s stored inside the cargo area rather than below the car, for example. Adding a hitch is the same for any W163 across the board. Hitch and a brake light isolator will set you back about $200, along with maybe an hour or two of installation time.
