That’s pretty much the same for my RO. I dropped it once whcih broke one of the 
bolts that holds the case halves together. I taped it up with some electrical 
tape to take the stress off the remaining bolt and all is well. And this 
probably happened 4-5 years ago.

I’m gradually shifting over to Milwaukee M18 system for everything, but I’ll 
keep my existing HF stuff as backups. It works, what can I say? I’ve got one of 
those angle grinders, too, and it’s been seriously mistreated but still works 
just fine.
