I wouldn't expect diesel to come down anytime soon. The summer driving season
is wrapping up but the heating season is just developing. We've had a couple
cool days here in New England so people are thinking about their oil tanks for
the first time in awhile. In fact after we close on our house I'll probably get
the tank filled, its at about half now so we'll need 125gal or so. Probably
have to fill it again in January.

Well gas dropped to 2.74 here, but diesel is still at 2.99

Glow plugs not glowing, bad fuel, clogged filters? All easy to check or
deal with.

Tranny sounds about shot, slipping bad, plumb wore out.
