The only thing that works for me (short of a power bleeder or two person bleed) is to put a plain hose (no check valve) on the bleeder, run the hose to the bottom of the catch bottle, and suspend the bottle above the bleeder. Siphon action keeps a slight positive pressure on the bleeder and no air gets in through the bleeder threads. MityVac always sucked air in through the bleeder threads when I tried to use it. Mitch.
