I've been thinking about a related comment since before this thread -

I'm thinking a screw on top with a inlet and outlet - there's one that came with my MityMite Vac kit - internally, one tube goes into the bottom of the container and is below the level of the liquid - this way, the vacuum pulls the liquid into the container but doesn;t put any vacuum on the container.

This would be a specially made top but there's probably something out there somewhere that would work I think.

Just thinking out loud --

1. Have eng at operatng temp.

2. Use 5/8 OD tube in TOP only of dipstick tube, not small tube into pan.

3. REDUCE VACUUM. It doesn't take much. Vent vac hose if necessay to
reduce vac.

4. Us oil evac tube that does not easily collapse and restrict flow into
bucket. If evac tube collapes, you have NO FLOW INTO BUCKET, AND IT WILL
COLLAPSE. IF EVAC TUBE COLLAPSES, TURN VAC OFF. YOU MUST MAINTAIN FLOW OF
SOMETHING - OIL, AIR, ETC. - INTO BUCKET WHILE VAC RUNS.

5. Read my $2 sucker instructions again.
