Does one ever stop messing with these?

My vacuum system is giving me grief again, after I put in many hours
last year chasing down leaks, replacing tubing, replacing the *(&^##$
under-dash cannisters for the climate control, etc. I am thinking if you
want something you don't have to mess with, that would be something
still under warranty from the dealer. The rest, sooner or later, you
will be doing some wrenching on.

The $10,000 asking price for a CD is extraordinary. I got mine for
$1,500 with 116,000 miles on it and a trashed tranny. I paid too much.
It would have been a $500 Kaleb Car. Still, it will be my buddy for
probably another twenty years until the engine calls it quits (or I do.)
