How much did the relay cost, if you don't mind me asking? I got one replaced
a few years ago in a 86 190E and it was about AU$500, which had I known what
I know now I would have not bought it but instead fixed the old one up.

The intermittent cutting out of the 103 engine has been rectified .
The fault was correctly diagnosed by all as a faulty fuel pump relay and
duly replaced .
I even repaired the old relay .It had two cold solder joints which I
resoldered . Tested, it works perfectly like the new.!
