Harry - what was so bad about the 524TD? Mine (and everyone I've seen or
heard of around here) has given excellent service, and the owners seem to be
happy with the cars. My wife and I agree that short of an AMG set up in a
M-B, the '85 524TD we had handled much better than any M-B we've ever had.
Only my 380SL was faster (but handled a lot worse) than the Bimmer.

Could there also be memory buttons for different driver settings? That
could also be counted in the 8 way. As for the 524 TD, stay away from
those it was a disaster.
