Ahh yes the boy who cried wolf. However we must keep an open mind about our
future and just because the things that past doomsday sayers have gone on
about have not happened, does not mean the things we are currently fretting
about about will not have an affect.
It would not harm us to use up less reources and/or share those resources
more fairly in order to give others a better standard of living.
Rampant capitalism and it's affect on society is one of the things we have
to look at.
An example is cars, we are addicted to them. That is good for the economy
but bad for the social fabric.
Anyway it's Christmas, time to spend money to show how much we love each
other.
