I'm forwarding a plug from the Diesel Vanagon list, of which I'm also
a member. The poster is a very highly regarded Diesel vanagon guru,
and the car looks pretty nice to me. No other affiliation.

Hope it's OK to mention this here: My brother has a really nice 1985
Mercedes 300D sedan he's done some work on and is selling for a friend.
If I didn't already have a Passat TDI wagon I'd buy it myself, it's such
a clean original car. Anyway, I'm plugging it here in case there might
be some interest, especially since there are few in this condition here
in the east.

Looks nicer than ours which has half the miles.
I wonder, though, if the speedometer is reading 15 mph low, is that odometer
reading low too? They work in conjunction, right?
