Go ahead & replace all 4 with new. Also, the newer design is better, with arubber piece in the center that limits upward travel.
Upward travel is normally limited by a rubber bumper on the chassis above the muffler, there should be a boss or something on the muffler that bumps into it. The improved 'donuts' have chain or something inside the rubber so they don't stretch out. -- Jim
