Motor uses 1 qt of M1 15w50/100miles. Before I have valve stem seals done I thought I'd try this. This is a V12 gas motor. Runs strong with ALL kinds ofpower. Just burns/uses oil and has a noise in there.
Dunno about the noise, but our 450 SL made clouds of oil smoke, and the problem was only the stem seals on #2. Which I did myself in the driveway in about an hour. Never did replace the other seals. (After six+ years it still doesn't use oil or foul plugs anymore.) -- Jim
