I have replaced the rear air cells on this car and the front subframe

cause the rear end to drop??

The rear subframe (that's the subframe at the rear of the car) mounts collapse after 10-15 years and that will cause the rear to droop in 116/123/126 chassis cars. Compression of the rubber buffers above and below the springs will do it too. The springs almost NEVER fatigue (they sometimes break). Replacing the rear subframe mounts (and rubber buffers if collapsed) will usually restore rear height and rear tire camber
