Well, all the glow plugs are new, and it's working fine now. Even when
the light is wacky, the engine starts like the plugs are working fine.

Now, while my problem was a bad amp you could be seeing a bad 1 or 2 GPs or
bad wiring between the Amp and one or more GP.
