Griots Garage has a IIRC $50 package that will finish four wheels. You are supplies a cleaner, some instructions, a can of primer, two cans of color, and two cans of clear. I am very happy with the outcome I got, but you really need to do exceedingly good prep.

If you are able to hit your local rattle can shop, that formula of primer, color and coat will serve you fine. Some cans are even labeled wheel paint and come in a close enough grey. Where you will really see issues is with the stupid lug bolt heads and the caps. Go all out on prep there.

If you get lucky and have a spare wheel in the trunk that has never seen the road, use that as a reference point. I pick one up at PnP and was able to go to Home Depot and sourced some rattle cans for the after-market pseudo bundts I refurbed.

I believe they;re available for around $100-$130 in many places - but tha might be exch at some places. and those are painted - chromed ones (yuck)
and around $180.

If you sell them fr $100 that;s probably a good price - make sure you have
some profit built in. Many suggest 30% or so -

So, What is the finish on the Bundts? Is it paint or powdercoating? A friend of mine has a whole stack of them I was wondering about restoring
and
reselling. I have podercoating equipment and a bead blast setup
available
to use.
Done right, looking new, would they be worth $100 each, outright, with
no
core charge, to anyone? I've been thinking of buying the equipment for
myself but haven't been sure if I could make it pay for itself.

I spent a few minutes with them today. Does not seem to be bubbles
from behind, as there is no great dimensionality that goes to depth. It is surface schmutz that rubs off with elbow grease. At least the
one bit I worked on.

YEP, you can send your scruffy bundts to Performance Products and get
a set of shiny wheels back. Something like $400 for the pleasure

They will not accept chromed wheels as cores.

Your 'pitting' looked an awful lot like bubbling from behind.
That, I've seen.
