The M117 engine in this car has a history of eating cams well before the indicated mileage of this car. Worse than that, the likelihood of head bolt holes stripping out while removing and replacing heads in the process is far more common. I have it on good authority that about 1 in 4 of these require Helicoils due to head bolt holes stripping. And it's not an easy job, as the bolt holes are not perpendicular to the block, meaning you have to get the special MB jig to drill them out. Be very, very careful.
