I'm afraid that in my attempt to reach new levels of sarcasm, I created a
sentence structure that was impossible to follow.
My point is that MB left their customers high and dry.
You used to get a better product from Mercedes - thicker sheet metal and
more stainless components than other manufacturers, but you paid more for
it. You did get what you paid for even though you paid a premium. That is to
say that the 10% increase in manufacturing expense cost you 40% more out of
pocket.
BUT when it comes to corporate responsibility and dedication to their
customers, MB let the shit roll downhill and their customers took it up the
ass. They succeeded in reaching the same level of mediocrity as every other
car maker on the planet.
Excuse me for being just a little disappointed...
