Could be that their server detected your computer coming from a US
server and directed it to information regarding models sold outside of
germany.
I saw the report on Deutsche Welle TV ( Berlin )a few years ago where
the German government made it mandatory for all new diesels sold in
Germany to be bio diesel compatible. They sell the stuff at most
stations there and a good portion of German police vehicles are diesel
and run on bio diesel. About the time that regulation went into place is
when all the rebuild kits from Bosch for injection pumps on older
diesels were changed to be bio diesel compatible.
I can't imagine the German government backpedaling on that one.

This info was extracted found on the MB-Germany factory website and is not
referring to US models in particular. It refers to current Bluetec cars,
obviously, since it's for '08 models.
Please provide an explanation for your claim.
