Thanks James. But I am talking about the tranny dipstick.

It's disturbing to hear that I could in fact have the correct dipstick
in there, as I have been running the thing quite low if that is the
case. My road trip from So. CA to Seattle surely has not helped
things. Again, my tranny dipstick does read 126 as the first digits of
the number on the red cap. I was hoping that I had the dipstick from a
126 chassis in there or something. The thing shifts quite nicely
though - no maladies. Wonder if I need to add fluid or not?!?
