If you do not have a clear and specific reason to install Vista. Don't. It's a resource hog. If you can use everything you need in XP, leave well enough alone. My wife's laptop has Vista on it. Bought specifically for her to use for work. She won't touch it. Everytime she *does* touch it to do any work that requires Windows she complains about the speed, the lag in opening software, etc. -- Knowledge is power... Power Corrupts. Study hard...
