It is interesting to note if there is a backlash against big money sports, with the average fan being marginalised to a being a cash cow who has no real ownership of the sport. It's early days but there seems to be a growing number of football supporters abandoning the big league in favour of the local competition because the local competition is making an effort to be family friendly rather than being treated like cattle at the big game.
