The point is that they wear and once worn cannot be rebuild to new standards. IF you know 100% that the problem with the nozzles is a build up of crud, then yeah cleaning them is a viable solution (whether at home or professionally). However in order to determine if they are still serviceable, they have to be cleaned. OK so you spend an afternoon cleaning them, now what? Do you have a set up to determine the spray? I know I don't and therefore the most economical solution for me is replacement. Let's say that they where operating at 60% efficiency and after cleaning they are at 80-90%, then there is still that inefficiency that can only be fixed with replacing. Also remember, instead of getting all upset because someone says something you don't want to hear, why don't you just hit the delete button.
