You are on the same page I am with that. I ended up getting two bad engines [one from a bone yard and one from Potomac (sp?) German] and had to pay a mechanic [many miles from home] three times to install them [he did not believe you could test compression without a full install]. I felt a tipping point there on not using local for the big stuff. Since this happened at home I have my mechanic to rely on and will follow his suggestions - though I'm very happy to have Rusty as a backup source. BillR
