Actually, Mercedes used to refer to color codes in the early 70's & they may still do this. The codes are used to translate into durometer (hardness) rating of the rubber. The system existed because several model / engine combinations used the same mount with the rubber hardness being the only difference.

Non OEM manufactures seem to refer to colour codes - I guess this refers to differnent damping/hardness values. Anyone have a clue PEter _______________________________________ http://www.okiebenz.com For new parts see official list sponsor: http://www.buymbparts.com/ For used parts email [EMAIL PROTECTED] To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com _______________________________________ http://www.okiebenz.com For new parts see official list sponsor: http://www.buymbparts.com/ For used parts email [EMAIL PROTECTED] To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com
