I'm sure there are those that'll say you're nuts but I'm not one of them. I've seen it too although it was much more pronounced in my 240D than the 190D.
#2 is $3.09 here which is has just about pushed me into a BJs membership. Theres one on my commute and at this price it might be possible to pay for the membership in fuel savings over a year alone. Any other savings is a bonus. -Curt Date: Mon, 15 Oct 2007 13:44:40 -0700 From: "Robert Rentfro" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subject: [MBZ] Low Sulfur Fuel Lubricity...Am I Nuts? To: "Mercedes Discussion List" <[email protected]> Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" Now that #2 is $3.05 here, I bought 5 gallons of SVO that was on sale to last me until tomorrow night when I have to head to work.where I can get, along the freeway, #2 at Loves for $2.85 (I hope). So I dump in the SVO and drive off and by the time I make it to the first light, it seems I am running markedly smoother and quieter. Since they have gone to exclusively low-sulfur I haven't made it into town to the closest bio pump (about 6 months or so). Does it really make that much of a difference or am I just nuts? It sounds and feels so much better it makes me want to start collecting WVO... Bob Rentfro '77 300D 182K Goodyear, AZ --------------------------------- Boardwalk for $500? In 2007? Ha!
