Hm. Even with experience and a lift I think 10 minutes is pretty unlikely. In my W123 it was a full afternoon's work. I think the 126 might have a little more room, avoiding the need to unbolt the transmission mount and wedge everything over to the side. Still -- 10 minutes? And are you saying he used a *used* piston in the repair? Maybe that's why you still have some flaring. I'd say, install the full B2 repair kit from Rusty, do a full fluid and filter change and use Mobil 1 ATF, also do the K2 upgrade since you're in there. I did all that on mine after the B2 failure and it shifts nice and firm now, no hint of flare. I have a writeup of the whole thing somewhere, with part numbers. Let me know if you'd like it.
