If there's not grass between the bike lane and the cars', it's not worth much. I hate riding my bike on the street. I love going for a ride on our Centennial trail, which skirts the river between Spokane and Coeur d'Alene. (Unfortunately, big chunks it also skirts the freeway, which is unpleasant. Fortunately, I'm not much of a rider, and rarely would go that far. Unfortunately, that makes me a slug...) I nearly got T-boned in my car by some dumb SOB riding his bike fast the wrong way down a sidewalk. He yelled at me, somehow thinking it was my fault that I wasn't expecting high-speed wrong-way off-road traffic. (I was looking the other way at that moment, having already ascertained that there were no peds close enough to worry about on the right. He seemed pretty sure that he was in the right. He wasn't. I was pretty sure he nearly got creamed. I _hate_ it when people get blood on my car.) -- Jim _______________________________________ http://www.okiebenz.com For new parts see official list sponsor: http://www.buymbparts.com/ For used parts email [EMAIL PROTECTED] To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com
