It's more than just the compression of one cylinder, it's the torque required to start turning over a still engine multiplied by the first gear ration & then multiplied again by the differential gear ratio.

One would think that eventually ( after a few seconds/minutes ) the rings will leak air and the car would then lurch fwd and then start a runway. This does not seem to happen though.
