And I suspected that you'd manage exposure the same way. It's the same NRC and the same regulations. Actually, there are a lot of household chemical compounds that are used in industry only when necessary because of associated risks. And when they are used in industry, the regulations surrounding them are very strict. These compounds are sold across the shelves of every major retailer. A few "common household chemicals" that come to mind are bleach, ammonia, drain cleaner and paint thinner.
