The 200D is NOT a 123. It is a 110. The Hydropneumatic compensator was first used in the 112 300SE, then made it into some 111s. The diff in a 110 is the same. It would fit in my 200D, IF I had ever found one. We are talking 60-68 here, not 80s.
Airbags are NOT air shocks. My 200D still has bilsteins and airbags in the springs, and has had that setup for 32 years.
