Yes, I am required to drive on the wrong side of the road to deliver papers. If I refused, I'd be fired. As for unsafe: I do it as safely as I can, unlike almost every other paper delivery drive I have ever seen - maniacs. The fact that they are paid by paper delivered, and not the hour adds to the problem.
