I've found that all Mercedes cost money in front cost, maintenance cost or both. But I probably drive more miles / year than most on this list. I looked at my records for last year and the total for the year was 53,000 miles.
Mercedes are even more costly / mile than the other cars I've owned. I've owned 17 Mercedes to date and every one has been more expensive to maintain than every other car I've owned, including my 01 Jeep and my 77 Corvette. But its still worth the expense to drive a classic machine and the expense is no-where close to the monthly cost of a new Mercedes. Kind of like my Harley & BMW motorcycles, which are both appreciating in value.
