Both Kaleb and Ed's comments are right on. However, I was on the RE list for a short time long ago, and I quit because of the high number of postings and the fact that none had any relevance to either my 110 200Ds or my 123 240D at the time. The RE list was/is for people with new cars (my definition is anything less than 15-20 years old is a new car.) and the discussion is mainly about whether to hand buff with merino wool buffer or Suffolk wool buffer. etc etc.
As Kaleb said, this is a community, but the lack of MB content has me reading few posts and wondering if I should unsubscribe for a while. OTOH, this list has saved me lots of time and money, and I have developed many friendships here. I have now actually met 3 members and a lurker face to face. Now if LT would schedule the next IOWEQ in June, I could meet a few more. Viva la Community!
