Saw it the other morning. A "considerate driver" stopped in traffic to
motion another driver in. The other driver assumed the "considerate driver"
had check traffic in all six lanes for her so when she shot through the
opening crossing other lanes she was "T boned." Snarled morning rush hour
for us all.

There used to be a practice (incorrect) called "courtesy signaling" where
some driver thought it was their duty to use turn signals to alert everyone
behind the intention of drivers in front?
