What was amazing was how little oil an oil change took with my old 350.
Geez, I swear it took just enough to fill the filter, and an extra quart or
two, and not much more. lol   When I did my first oil change on an old air
cooled 911,  I was convinced, after pouring the 10th litre in, I had made a
mistake and was pouring the oil in the gas tank rather than the oil tank.
