Boy, don't I wish that I could believe the market is controlled by what the
consumer wants.

Unfortunately, I feel - no evidence - just feel, that the consumer wants
what he/she is aware of/presented with.

The radio was a fantastic thing until B&W television made an appearance.
Black and White television was absolutely wonderful until Color became
available. VHS tapes were all the rage until DVDs became the consumer norm.
Now there is Blu Ray (or something like that) HD etc.

Albeit (did I do it right?) LOL full of commercials broadcast
television served many generations now in the near future if you don't have
digital you cannot even watch televiosn.
