Our german shepherd used to chase _us_ out the driveway and
down the road. No amount of yelling or scolding would work,
it'd just sit way out there in the field smiling at us and
waiting for the chase game to resume. One day I leapt the
fence chased it down and kicked its ass. "Go Home!" Had
to do that twice, as I recall. Such a look of disbelief
on that dog! Never chased me again. Would still chase
others. As a passenger I once got the driver to stop and
I made it as far as the fence, the dog ran home. I think
it stopped thereafter, once I got the other family members
to at least stop and swing the door open a few times themselves.

The road was a little too far away for it to lurk out there
chasing strangers, and traffic was thin. Pretty dull wait
so far from the food dish.
