I can see the appeal of conversions that are trying to solve a problem (e.g. Chevy mouse motor into Jag, Subaru flat-four into Vanagon), but some seem to be the result of someone with too much time on their hands and a couple of junk cars that they couldn't think of anything better to do with. "Because it would fit" isn't sufficient reason to go to the effort of swapping motors.
