I'm not sure that I would follow through with this project since the price of Diesel has gotten so high, but I've thought of putting a Mercedes Diesel into a RWD minivan (Ford Aerostar/Chevy Astro). There's a guy on another list who has a full size Chevy van with a NA OM617 in it, but I wouldn't think it would be too practical here in the mountainous PNW. However, the minivan would weigh only slightly more than a 300SD.
