I'll keep the rabbits. We had those very ugly faced ducks down South. I didn't mind them drinking out of our small fountain by the front door, but then they would hop in [no way they actually fit] and poop in the water and all over the walk and porch every day. Learned to despise those critters. At least the rabbits poop in the weeds and can't get their mouths through the anti-rabbit fence on the grapes. Better the devil I know ... Now those bushy-tailed rodents with the good PR firm are another story. I had to put builders cloth [?? small squared wire] over the soffit vents around the entire house to keep them out of the attic, then repaint the wood trim every place they made or tried to make a 'door' through the screen. I am no longer a fan of the vermin - except perhaps next to the mashed potatoes. BillR
