I don't think they allow movement in ways that a conventional leaf spring setup 
does not but they tend to ride
softer. That would be my experience with the old Chevy in any event. It rides 
nice.

So, in that situation, what do the links link?  The body to the axle?
Do they allow axle movement in some way that a conventional live
axle/RWD arrangement doesn't?
