Please refer below steps : *Method 1 (Compile Time)*
1) Make sure you have Web Addin enabled in Addin Manager before you actually start adding the Web Objects. 2) In QTP,go to Menu : Resources > Object Repository Manager 3) Select Menu Object >Add Objects 4) Hold Ctrl Key > Activate the Application window >Release Ctrl key >Click on the object in you main web application you want to add.Click ok 5) Select Add object and all its descendants >Click OK. *Method 2 - At at Run time * 1)Open QTP with Web Addin enabled. 2) Launch the Web Application you want to test. 3) Select Menu : Automation >Record 5) Click OK. 6) Perform some operations in web application -Select a Menu,Click a Button. 6) QTP will start recording the objects and mouse/keyboard events. *Note*: Its recommended to use Object Spy before adding any new object to Object Repository, to learn its properties.
